Armey and Amnesty [Mark Krikorian]

Dick Armey's vocal support for amnesty is starting to cause him problems with the Tea Party folks. From Politico:

But the Armey attack that seems to be getting the most traction on the right is related to his stance on immigration reform, which many conservatives view as the next major front in their battle with the Obama administration, now that President Barack Obama has signed the healthcare overhaul bill.

Roy Beck of NumbersUSA, a group opposing illegal immigration, since February had been working with local tea party leaders across the country to disseminate a detailed fact sheet chronicling the congressional votes behind Armey’s low rating from NumbersUSA on immigration issues.

Beck told POLITICO he decided to take his anti-Armey campaign public after Armey in last week’s press club appearance blasted the GOP for ostracizing Hispanic voters by calling for an immigration crackdown and declared “there is roomâ€

Dick Armey is a SLUG ... a man without a backbone. He needs to be pushed to the side and allowed to Apply for Citizenship in any of the Socialist Countrys he wishes...

Armey is poison, and the sooner tea partiers realize that the better for America. As for guest worker programs, we already have a passel of them which no authority is able to control. Every visa we give out is not controlled once the person is in this country -- we have little idea if they respected the terms and left, or are still here with a fake identity bought on the street corner.
I am glad he did not stay away from the discussion as that stance shows his true colors. Self-serving and money-mongering evil hijacker, IMHO.

Dick Armey, you Pandering Fool! So conservatives or Republicans should support the invasion and occupation of our sovereign nation by foreign invaders, because if not we are "ostracizing" Hispanics? Well then, Ostracize On Patriots!!

Armey I seriously don't know how you've made it as far as you have, when you are so lacking in ability to reason. You say the GOP should be FOR amnesty just to get the hispanic vote -- Hello! Have you ever heard of John McCain McAmnesty?? Were you living in a cave somewhere during the last election?? McCain was a sponsor of the last amnesty bill, and he still LOST the election. He did NOT get the majority of the Hispanic vote in spite of being Mr. Amnesty.

While it might be true that some Hispanics tend to have some conservative views on some social issues, it does NOT follow that they will therefore VOTE for GOP candidates, just because the GOP candidate is willing to sell out his country to pander to them. They overwhelmingly VOTE for liberal/Democrat candidates.

Get a clue Mr. Armey!!
