Multnomah County deputies and U.S. Marshals served the warrants about 9 a.m. at an apartment in the 1100 block of Southeast Kane Drive and at a residence in the 600 block of Southeast Rene Avenue, said Lt. Steve Alexander, a spokesman for the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators seized cocaine, a stolen firearm and more than $10,000 in cash after the searches, Alexander said. They also arrested Orasio Nunezquesada, 37, and Juan Gutierrez, 45, and booked both men in the Multnomah County Jail.

Nunezquesada, who was convicted of drug charges in 2006, faces charges of possession, delivery and manufacture of cocaine and first-degree child neglect after investigators found drugs near where a child sleeps, Alexander said.

Gutierrez was charged with first-degree theft and being a felon in possession of a fire arm.

Jail records showed both men are also detained on an immigration hold.
