Arizona's Sheriff Arpaio set to endorse Rick Perry !

Arizona's controversial Sheriff Arpaio set to endorse Rick Perry

    By From NBC's Carrie Dann

NBC News has confirmed with a source familiar with the matter that Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona, will endorse Rick Perry this week.

Arpaio will campaign with Perry in New Hampshire this week, the source said.

The Arizona sheriff is known as a vehement backer of tough immigration laws and was a vocal supporter of his own state's controversial enforcement laws.

Perry critics have described him as soft on immigration since the Florida debate, when he called opponents "heartless" for deriding his policy of in-state tuition for children of illegal immigrants in Texas.

It will be the biggest mistake of his career, if he does this. Why Joe would do this is beyond me.

As of yet I have not decided on who to support none of the current candidates would be my dream GOP candidate, however I believe Joe supporting Perry is a moot point as I expect the media and the GOP rino's to select Romney, what is somewhat humorous I believe Perry would be more anti-illegal as president then Romney who will work out some form of amnesty with John McCain. Bachmann is the only other one in the GOP line up that would be tougher and she will not get the nomination.

My main concern with the current GOP field is simply defeating Obama.

Don't flame me too hard this opinion is based on years of watching politics and how they change views when elected.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
