Two men on trial for operating a drop house in the west Valley have been found guilty, County Attorney Andrew Thomas announced Tuesday.

Cresenciano Torres De La Rosa, 36, and Jorge Morales-Loza, 30, were found guilty on four counts of kidnapping and one count of human smuggling.

Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 22, where the County Attorney's Office will ask for 42 years in prison for Torres De La Rosa, and at least ten years for Morales-Loza.

In October 2007, deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office were tipped to a drop house operating at 9420 West Coolidge Road.

Authorities arrived to find 50 people, mostly illegal immigrants, held against their will inside the home.

"This office will continue to seek justice for all victims of crime regardless of citizenship or nationality," Thomas said.
