TUCSON, Ariz. - Authorities say a human-caused brush fire forced the precautionary evacuation of 10 homes Sunday in a community southwest of Tucson.
Pima County Sheriff's Department officials say the fire was about 50 percent contained by nightfall after charring about 160 acres near Three Points.
The evacuation of area residents was ordered by officials of the Three Points Fire District as a precaution Sunday afternoon, said Judy Wood, spokeswoman for the Arizona State Forestry Division.
Sheriff's spokesman Deputy Dawn Barkman says no structures were damaged and there were no injuries.
Barkman says an illegal immigrant became lost in the desert and started a signal fire to seek help.
That person was turned over to U.S. Border Patrol agents.

Diversion
He started the fire to seek help? MAayyybeee,
Truth is, their MO is to create a diversion - then they cross the border five miles upwind while the authorities tend to the fire
This is a huge safety risk for the dry southwest - I feel sorry for the peolple whose homes are in danger - alll because someone wanted to come pick fruit.
In a perfect world, Mexico would clean itsself up and work on job creation and caring for its own citizens - but we know thats about as likely as a West Coast Liberal voting for border security
Minnesota offering free college tuition ONLY to illegal aliens –...
