PHOENIX – Deputies are reportedly expecting to make 100 identity theft arrests during a raid at a business in Phoenix this morning.

Deputy Lindsey Smith with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said deputies and posse members are in the process of detaining over 100 employees at the Royal Paper Converting Company near 17th Avenue and Fillmore Street.

Deputies have a search warrant for the property after as many as 102 people employed were found to be using false or stolen identification documents after a year long investigation, said Smith.

Most of those under investigation reportedly have an immigration status that has yet to be determined.

Smith said this is the second time in 12 months that this company has been the focus of employer sanctions investigations by MCSO.

Video from overhead Air15 showed several people being detained in the parking lot and led back into the building.

There is no word if any arrests have been made.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office deputies detained more than 100 people early Thursday in what officials described as an identity-theft raid at a south Phoenix paper company.

Deputies served a search warrant at the company at 711 N.17th Ave., near 17th Avenue and Fillmore Street, as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged employer-sanction violations at Royal Paper Converting Company.

Nearly 100 employees are believed to be in possession of stolen or fraudulent identification, according to the Sheriff's Office.

"This is the second time in 12 months that this company has been the focus of employer sanctions investigations by the Sheriff's Office," Maricopa County Deputy Lindsey Smith wrote in an e-mail.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is expected to address the investigation later today.

Thank God for Sheriff Joe - "stolen identies" - the list of crimes against American citizens by illegal aliens just keeps growing.

Stealing Americans ID destroys their lives for years...the battle is expensive and never ends!

God only knows how many companies are operating like this throughout this country, employing ILLEGAL INVADERS, thereby stealing jobs from American citizens!

Thanks Sheriff Joe for protecting this country while others in positions of authority make excuses and or defend these businesses and illegal invaders by refusing to go after these criminals!

I want the owner of this business investigated and prosecuted if found to have knowledge of these federal crimes!!

Yes, and when someone goes to prison, go get the rest of the family and DEPORT THEM!!!

So where is DHS? Aren't they supposed to be going after EMPLOYERS? If this is the SECOND time they've been busted, they SHOULD have already been on a "watch" list.

Oh wait, what was I thinking? I'm probably on a watch list not these law breakers. I'M dangerous , they are not.
