Sheriff Joe Arpaio says the Mesa graffiti incident won't hold him back from doing his job.
Graffiti of Arpaio's head and the words "Nazi Joe" was recently spotted on several buildings in downtown Mesa.
Mesa police said the city covered the graffiti promptly and will not investigate the incident.
"You don't pull an investigation on every graffiti you see," Mesa police spokesman Christopher Arvay said.
Arpaio said this is just one of several instances of personal attacks against him.
"They can't stop me through the law because my deputies are doing the right thing, so now they are crossing the line and attacking me personally," he said.
Some similar incidents attacking Arpaio include demonstrators wearing KKK uniforms, calling him every name in the book and parading the streets with their children carrying Hitler signs, he said.
"There hasn't been one elected official to step up and say 'they shouldn't be saying these things about our Sheriff' regardless of what they believe," Arpaio said. "Where is everybody? For me, no one cares."
Arpaio said he has a message to all the critics trying to deter him:
"I will be back in full force to Mesa very soon and I will not forewarn anyone before we go over there," he said

This is exactly what William and we have been experiencing for some time now. It is not an easy path, but one that must be taken in order for us Americans (true Americans and patriots) to take back our nation from the libertards who have been able to have their way for far too long.
when they realized they could no longer have their way, they have nothing else to fight with but name calling.
We stand with Sheriff Joe Arpaio, he is doing it right and although for some it is unpopular, he will not be stopped or silenced with mere childish words.“In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. When his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, For then it costs nothing to be a Patriot.â€
