Border Patrol make big drug bust

TUCSON, Ariz. In one of the biggest drug busts of the year, the Border Patrol used high and low tech to recover two-thousand pounds of marijuana.

Agents in a Black Hawk helicopter and on horseback and foot arrested 15 drug runners in the Baboquivari (bab-oh-kee-VAR'-ee) Mountains yesterday, 22 miles north of the border.

Agents on horses moved in on the group with instructions of their whereabouts coming from the helicopter.

The Border Patrol seized 106 bundles of marijuana.

The pot has an estimated street value of slightly more than one (m) million dollars.
