Birth certificates would be denied to those without a legal parent

PHOENIX — The architect of Arizona's new employer sanctions law, which takes effect Tuesday, is crafting a series of new measures aimed at people who entered the U.S. illegally.

Rep. Russell Pearce, R-Mesa, says he is introducing measures this legislative session to:

I do not think that witholding of workers compensation is a good idea. It is benefits more than pay scale which motivates the employers of illegal aliens.


A law that says as an employer you do not have to pay workers compensation to an illegal immigrant is an incentive to break the law.


It makes more sense to charge someone who employs an illegal the same workers compensation for an illegal alien as an American but for the government to keep portion. That is arguing that their legal income loss is less for someone who is from where the pay rate is from a twelfth to a fifth what it is here. That range is using an illegal alien from Mexico as an example.

Let's hope that other States will follow their example.

I think children of illegal aliens should be denied citizenship. OBL's keep saying the illegal immigration issue is the federal government's job. So, let the federal government handle the birth certificates for the illegal aliens' anchor babies. What do you to bet, the number of applicants would be pretty small.
