    Sheriff's office arrests smuggler, illegal immigrants in Wickenburg

    The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office arrested a human smuggler and 19 illegal immigrants in Wickenburg Tuesday.

    The small town, the site of other recent arrests, is in northwest Maricopa County along a main route between Phoenix and Las Vegas.

    Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Tuesday the smuggler was a 48-year-old Hispanic male who received between $800 and $3,000 for illegal immigrants transported throughout the U.S.
