    video Police investigating shooting at alleged drop house

    Phoenix police are searching for two suspects after a shooting in the West Valley early Monday afternoon. It happened inside a home that may have been used as an illegal immigrant drop house near 73rd Avenue and Palm Lane.

    Police say at least one person was shot. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time. Investigators say up to 50 suspected illegal immigrants were found inside the home.

    update from the link

    A Hispanic male in his 40s was shot and killed, though police are unsure whether the man was a coyote or an illegal immigrant. Investigators say around 20 suspected illegal immigrants fled the home when shots were fired. They have six people in custody and are interrogating them as to their immigration status.
