APRIL 7, 2006 -- Authorities in Pender County have made a massive cocaine bust.

Three men are behind bars after authorities found $500,000 worth of cocaine in their cars. Sheriff Carson Smith says it's the largest cocaine seizure in county history.

Marcos Guzman and Jorge Perez are from Magnolia. Onan Escoto is from Rose Hill.

Smith says two of the men are illegal immigrants. One had Hispanic gang tattoos. The cocaine apparently came into the U.S. through the Mexican border.
