Bill Clinton: John McCain and Hillary are 'very close'

Bill Clinton: John McCain and Hillary are 'very close'
    Posted: 06:45 PM ET

(CNN) — If Hillary Clinton and John McCain become their party's presidential nominees, the general election race is likely to be a love-fest.

At least according to Bill Clinton.

Campaigning in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Friday, the former president brushed aside suggestions his wife would prove to be a divisive nominee for the Democratic Party, pointing out how she has successfully worked with Republicans in the Senate — including one of the current GOP presidential candidates.

"She and John McCain are very close," Clinton said. "They always laugh that if they wound up being the nominees of their party, it would be the most civilized election in American history, and they're afraid they'd put the voters to sleep because they like and respect each other."

The comments may not be welcome by the McCain camp — which yesterday faced fire from several of its rivals for winning the backing of the New York Times — a longtime archenemy of conservatives.

Sens. McCain and Clinton last met publicly at an ABC debate earlier January, when presidential candidates of both parties shared the same stage. The two were seen exchanging pleasantries, and a Clinton side said she told the Arizona senator he’d done a “good jobâ€

If either of these two become president, you can bet we will have amnesty for the millions of illegals already here and open borders for millions more to come in. If anyone out there is thinking to vote for McCain, believing he will secure the border, you are in for a surprise. It's no surprise what the Hildabeast will do! Use your vote wisely and urge others to do the same! Our Country is at to much risk to do otherwise.

First of all...THROW MC CAIN OUT OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY...NOW!!! This guy is deranged and dangerous.

Secondly, STOP BILL CLINTON FROM GETTING A THIRD TERM!!!!! NOW!!!

There are reports coming out now that McCain has, over the years, said he might switch to the Dem party! The bottom line is that McCain is a traitor to this country!!! How does he keep getting re-elected in Arizona?

Bill Clinton needs to be muzzled...he is NOT just one of the candidate's 'spouses' who is just out there supporting his wife! He is a DISGRACED, DIMINISHED, LYING, CHEATING FORMER PRESIDENT WHO IS GOING TO SAY OR DO ANYTHING TO GET BACK IN THE WH!

The Clintonistas should have been constitutionally banned from seeking a third term!!! This is the most important election in the history of this country, and it has been highjacked by the biggest crooks ever to occupy the WH! I'm sure they have made a back room deal with McCain!

WE HAVE TO UNITE - OTHERWISE THEY WIN!!! STOP MC CAIN AT ANY COST!!!! HE IS NOT A REPUBLICAN...HE IS A TRAITOR TO HIS COUNTRY AND A TRAITOR TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ! STOP HIM NOW!!!

    Hi All,

You have to check out Romney's new TV Ad titled

    Something to think about!!!!

The Clinton machine is a very shrewd machine. It is not about what is best for America, it is about what will get them back into power. Here is a scenario to think about. A close alliance with John McCain--a behind the scenes cabal--with this twist -if either of them wins the nomination of their party and the other doesn't- the loser is asked to be the Vice President. American sheeple are elated, everyone is aglow-bipartisan peace - at last!! Except it will be as peaceful as the Middle East after all their agreements. John McCain is a Democrat, he is not a Republican. Just as the illegal immigrants have infiltrated America over the last 50 years, so too have liberal individuals infiltrated the Republican party. They are winning through their assimilation in the party.

In the meantime, I ask you, at the risk of being called bigot, xenophobe and prejudiced, have you noticed how many elected officials with Hispanic names vote for amnesty and increased immigration quotas?? Why cannot America see though their thinly veiled charges that to implement ID checks and using e-verify to ascertain citizenship will harm a great number of legal citizens? What a falsehood! It is all part of the great American invasion and takeover. Some of our elected officials are part and parcel of the great takeover (e.g. Rep. Cuellar).

These people then will open the borders, the swarm of low-skilled, willing slaves will enter. The median salary for middle class America will drop, the elite few will become even more elite. Jorge will sit on the veranda of his estancia while the grateful braceros sing paeans of praise to the great leader who made us all one. Sort of like the people in Russia sang about the great and beneficial system installed by Iosef Dzhugashvili after assasinating the Romanovs.

The economists will wallow in self-congratulatory glee as their "free trade", "comparative advantage" theories bring them the rewards they stated it would bring all peoples. Meanwhile, middle class salary drops, coupled with inflationary prices of necessities will create a New World Order on the North American continent. These elites will resolve the drought problems of America by building a dam and piping system that will use Canada's water resource to try to turn the desert to the Garden of Eden. (It's all about jellybeans???)
Oh, what an idyllic life we each will live under this great new society!!

If you have not read the book or seen the older version of "The Time Machine", (with Alan Young), I recommend watching it to see how we have become the Eloi. The others who live here who have not placed their original ethnic country subordinate to America are the Morlocks. They will blow the whistle and our descendants will blindly enter their underground society to toil for them.

    What a shame!!

What a shame!! I feel it is necessary to add, I am not a bigot nor a xenophobe. I truly respect all Americans of all colors and ethnicity. Those colors mixed together have made America great. They are the colors that, no matter how many tints are added, always come out to the Red, White and Blue. That is the strength of America. That is the strength that is fading. We must, 100%, be 100% American.
I add this qualification because in the matter of debate, it is a common ploy to attack the debater rather than the issues. In today.s Politically Correct environment the words-"racist, bigot, prejudiced , biased", are flung at the person who voices an opinion in the hopes of obscuring the points of the statement.
No one has the right to give away what belongs to all of us without the consent of the majority. That is our strength. I pray that in the near futuure I am not reading that that WAS the strength of America.

I love this country, I risked my life for it as a young man. My love, as an old man, is even greater for my eyes have seen the many great and wonderful things this country offers to its citizens.

America, the greatest republic that exists (existed????).

Being called racists and xenophobes (and worse) in our own country is the biggest slap in the face imaginable! Our traitorous government is ALLOWING us to be pitted against the racist hispanics who are commonly known as RAZAS aka THE RACE!

WHOSE COUNTRY IS THIS, ANYWAY??? Why should we have to defend ourselves against the corrupt, failed State of Mexico and it's race baiting double agents who have infiltrated our government and are seeking to turn the USA into Mexico by exporting their armies of Razas!

We should never have to qualify our stand against illegal immigration by saying "I am not a xenophobe or a racist, but"....It's about the uncontrolled masses of ILLEGAL ALIENS...not racism!

Get LA RAZA out of our country!
