I saw the show last night. He had a lawyer on who explained to him that the agents had broken many laws and procedures, that the government was right in prosecuting them and that the jury was right in convicting them.

O'Reilly agreed with him that the agents should do some time, but not twenty years. I heard him say ten years, then he said five years.

At the close he said that he didn't think that they'd actually serve time, but I didn't hear his reason for thinking that.

This "transcript" is obviously not of the full segment and doesn't resemble the show I saw last night. Perhaps it's from the previous weeks show, when he had a guest on who was sympathetic to the agents.

Now that I look at the link above, it goes to the August 8th show, not the August 14th one.
