NEW YORK-- As immigrant advocates battle hardline immigration bills in state capitols across the country, they’re receiving crucial support from caucuses of black legislators.

Black politicians have come out in defense of immigrants, questioning the morality and wisdom of tough immigration legislation in states from Nebraska to Georgia, where “copycat billsâ€

I'm simply befuddled by this. Illegals stealing American jobs is a direct cause of high unemployment in the black community. Unless these black legislators intend for their constituents to be wards of the state and permanent welfare recipients.

Why are they standing so strong with laws that assist illegal aliens? Do they understand most black people have lost jobs to aliens, and are suffering greatly, due to unemployment?

all these people named, who oppose any sort of legislation dealing with illegal immigration need phone calls to let them know they are wrong in their thinking

Yes, the black leaders are making a terrible mistake. They are sacrificing their own constituents trying to gain illegal votes for the Democratic Party from illegal aliens and contributions from illegal employers, those who profit from the illegal drug trade run and operated by foreign drug cartels, and labor networks who profit from human smuggling.

Black Americans must wake up and see this for what it is and grind it to a halt by calling their Congresscritters demanding a stop to illegal immigration and if they don't comply, booting them from office and electing people who will.
