Blacks and Illegal Immigration, Part One: What Undocumented Workers are Costing Us

While the Republican presidential candidates have made immigration reform one of the major issues in the campaign and have even linked it to national security, it has gotten a much lower profile among Democrats.

This time last year, immigration had become a flashpoint issue that reached beyond Capitol Hill, especially among black Americans. Illegal immigration was being debated on black radio, in barber shops and during community meetings. The question on everyone’s lips was whether illegal immigrants were taking jobs from black Americans.

By late fall and early winter, however, the issue had diminished. Dramatically.

According to a survey of likely black presidential primary voters conducted by the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, less than one percent of those surveyed identified immigration as the most important national problem.

In 2005, then-Mexican President Vicente Fox caused a stir in a speech about granting legal status to illegal immigrants in the U.S. when he declared, “There is no doubt that Mexicans — filled with dignity, willingness and ability to work — are doing jobs that not even blacks want to do in the United States.â€

It's obvious that poor blacks are directly competing for jobs against the illegal invader and losing that competition since illegals can be exploited.

Blacks certainly need to reconsider the way they cast their votes if indeed they want to solve this problem.

And where is Jesse Jackson and All Sharpton on this issue? They have no problem with speaking out against perceived inequities rendered against blacks in this country. Seems to me they should be all over this issue.

I guess there is no buck to be made in doing something that may actually benefit those very people that you claim to be representing.

Sharpton and Jackson are all about power (and the resulting money it brings). They, and the NAACP have actually formed alliances with Latino/Hispanic advocacy groups because they see them as an emerging threat to the establishment. They care not a wit that illegal immigration is severely debilating to blacks, they only care that they get in on the Hispanics power trip.

Strange, isn't it, how a key item in the one-world government master plan will trump other issues and render their champions mute?

The one-world government, centered in Europe, is figuratively referred to here and in Daniel 9 as "the beast."
