Bloody Saturday in Ciudad Juárez: 13 executions

Ciudad Juárez lived a violent day on Saturday, registering 13 executions in different events, making it the second most violent day so far in April.

A slaughter was recorded around 17:30 hours, this in a house located in Colonia Felipe Angeles, gunmen arrived at the home and shot several people, were more than five minute bursts, said the neighbors.

Four men were executed, and officials said one was a person with disabilities.

The second slaughter took almost 30 minutes after the first, when armed men arrived at a garage located in the Lomas del Rey, and shot six people, four of which were executed and two were seriously injured.

Investigators said officers found about 40 shell casings at the scene, while staff from the Medical Examiner conducted a survey of the bodies so far have not been identified.

On different facts other persons were shot, giving a total of 13 people dead.
