The United States government is on the verge of approving a mass amnesty to millions of illegal aliens — a plan pushed aggressively by meddling Mexican officials who reap billions of dollars in remittances (illegal aliens’ earnings sent back to Mexico) without having to lift a finger to clean up their own country.

And the thanks we get? Internationally televised public humiliation.

On Monday night, the beautiful young woman who represented America in the Miss Universe pageant was booed and mocked as she competed on stage in Mexico City. Rachel Smith, 22, did her best to respond with grace and dignity during the top-five finalists’ interview segment as the audience disrupted the event.

As soon as co-host Vanessa Minnillo invited Miss USA to pick a judge’s name from a bowl of index cards, widespread howls broke out at the mere mention of “USA.â€

Big surprise.

Most cultures hold weaker ones in contempt. The way the US has been groveling at Mexico's feet, no one should be surprised when they spit in our face.

But this is nothing. Just wait till Bush/Kennedy get through legalizing 20 million of them.

Now we know why our uninvited Mexitards are so ill-mannered.

I was reading up on Rachel Smith. She was born in Panama. It didn't say what race/nationality her parents are, but she looks to be mestizo, and Rachel is a Latino name.

Groveling and making them victims and giving away all our entitlements!

I don't know what happened to her and why hispanics get so defensive. As a child of Italian immigrant grandparents I certainly don't protect or defend the criminals that came to this country aka The Mafia. I mean why can't people see what is so clearly a disaster. Melting pot no more. Just another Latin American third world country. That will be America if we do not stop this train wreck!

SHAME!!! this is all the lil old ladies are gossiping about at work..... and they came to the conclusion that we need a wall. mind you these ladies were against the fence plan and at least one voted no to the Farmers Branch ordinance...

i think this may have shook some more folks lose.

It takes my breath away that millions of people who may feel similar to this audience will be given precious US citizenship...
