Body found at Hummel Park is identified
ARIZONA DAILY STAR

A man whose body was found in a rental car at a North Side park Tuesday morning has been identified as a 49-year-old Hermosillo, Sonora, resident.
No motive has been determined and no suspects have been identified in connection with the slaying of Edgardo Oscar Carranza-Badilla, said Sgt. Mark Robinson, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
According to Robinson, Carranza-Badilla's body was found around 9:20 a.m. after a passerby reported a foul-smelling odor coming from a 2007 red Dodge Caliber that was parked on the east side of Don Hummel Park, 4255 N. Fourth Ave.
When officers arrived, they found his decomposing body inside the vehicle, which was rented by a Tucson woman whom police are not identifying, Robinson said.
"If you knew or had contact with him during his most recent visit to Tucson, or if you know what he was doing here, please contact 911 or 88-CRIME," Robinson said.
Online court records show that Carranza-Badilla was wanted in Maricopa County on drug charges. Records also show that he has been arrested on theft of means of transportation, shoplifting, assault and a number of other charges.http://www.azstarnet.com/sn/printDS/188488
