    Body found near border in Otay Mesa

    OTAY MESA — Police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found near the Mexico border in Otay Mesa Thursday.

    An environmental worker called Border Patrol agents about 1:30 p.m. and reported finding the body, which was near Cactus Road and Calle de Linea, west of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry, according to Border Patrol officials.

    The skeletal remains were found at the side of a creek.

    San Diego police were called to take over the investigation. The remains will be examined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

    No further information about the victim was available.

    I would like to know how do that Country Courts handle all the heavy loads of criminal cases they receives on a daily basis. It must be a terrible burden.
