Border Agent Gets New Judge

A border patrol agent facing murder charges wins an early round in court.

Agent Nicholas Corbett exercised his one time right to request a change of judge, and he got it.

He also asked for a delay in his preliminary hearing. He got that, too.

Corbett says he shot and killed an illegal immigrant near Naco in January because he thought the man was going to throw a rock.

Witnesses say Corbett pushed the man to the ground, and shot him.

A justice of the peace from Bisbee will preside over Corbett's hearing June 15, instead of one from Douglas.

These witnesses are lying..the video clearly shows the illegal alien on his feet attempting to throw something. The border agent fired and that's how he ended up on the ground..PERIOD.

These "witnesses" must be illegals, too.

From what I read about the case, the witnesses are relatives of the illegal alien and are themselves illegals who were traveling in the same group trying to cross over illegally. Also, before any of these witnesses were even interviewed by U.S. authorities, they were coached by officials of the Mexican Consulate on exactly what to say. Of course, Cochise County Sheriff's Office investigators and the Mexican Consulate deny the claims.
