Border agents find 20 in freight train

COMBES, Texas - Twenty illegal immigrants were found hidden in a train car full of scrap metal, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Thursday.

None was seriously harmed and all declined medical attention. They included 10 Hondurans, four Chinese, three Dominicans and three Mexicans.

The immigrants were discovered Wednesday in Combes, about 20 miles north of the border, after a Border Patrol search dog reacted to the train car.

A 24-year-old Mexican was charged with alien smuggling, authorities said.
