Border Czar Tom Homan Weighs in on Minneapolis Shooting – “I believe, I Truly Believe That Officer Thought His Life Was in Danger to Take That Action” (VIDEO)

Border Czar Tom Homan joined “Fox News Sunday” with guest host Jacqui Heinrich to discuss the events in Minnesota. Homan explained that it is important to let the investigation into the shooting of Renee Nicole Good play out. He explained that there are numerous videos, witness statements, officer statements, and even ballistics that will provide further evidence.

Homan also went on to explain that the left is playing a game where they are treating ICE as if they are not law enforcement. He stated that interfering with ICE operations impedes law enforcement.

Homan also went on to say that Minnesota is a sanctuary state and that they don’t cooperate with federal law enforcement.

“Immediately after the shooting, you said that it would be unprofessional to comment on what I think happened in that situation. Let the investigation play out,” Heinrich said.

“Since that time, we have seen a lot more evidence come out,” Heinrich continued.

“What is your assessment now?” Heinrich asked.

“When I did that interview, I went straight from an airplane tarmac to that interview. So, when someone shows me one video, cherry-picked video and asks me to comment, I just think it is inappropriate for me to do so,” Homan said.

“Since then, I’ve looked at a bunch of videos, and I believe, I truly believe that officer thought his life was in danger to take that action,” Homan said.

Homan explained that there is still a lot we don’t know about the incident because of videos that people have not seen. He also said an investigation involves other things like statements from witnesses, officer statements, and forensic evidence like ballistics.

“There is probably a lot of video we haven’t seen, but the FBI has,” Homan continued.

“What’s the statement from the officer? What’s the statement from the witnesses? What’s the ballistics?

Ballistics, you know. I’m sure they are looking at ballistics in the forensics,” Homan explained.

The Border Czar also warned against coming to conclusions of it being a murder. He explained that hateful rhetoric has fueled a lot of these problems.

“Stop the hateful rhetoric. You can’t compare this to murder. Murder requires malice, and that is just dangerous putting that type of language out. Let the investigation play out and see where it lies,” Homan said.
