According to reports, Krentz has a broken pelvis and leg.

Saucedo drove his vehicle to the end of the block after realizing he had struck someone. He later claimed that the sun obstructed his view

Douglas Police said Saucedo displayed several signs of impairment to drive a motor vehicle and therefore, a DUI investigation ensued Saucedo was determined to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision and was therefore arrested for DUI on scene. Being that the collision was DUI related and involved serious injury, Saucedo was also charged with two counts of felony endangerment and two counts of aggravated assault.

At the time of the accident, his blood-alcohol content was .114. The legal limit in Arizona is .08.

The Douglas Dispatch contacted the Cochise County Attorney’s Office but as of presstime, there is no additional information on whether an indictment of Saucedo is proceeding.
