Hazel Dell woman thwarts possible kidnapping.

An alert Hazel Dell woman saved a four-year-old girl from two apparent would-be kidnappers Saturday afternoon.

Seargant Tim Bieber with the Clark County Sheriff's Office said several people at Callahan's Mobile Estates near Highway 99 and NE 96th Street in Clark County reported seeing a suspicious van driving around the park around 5:00 p.m. Friday. Bieber said witness saw the driver of the van open his door and call over a 4 year old girl who lived in the park. The girl climbed in the van with the man, according to witnesses.

Beiber said Monica Sigman wathched the girl get in the van. She was very concerned for the girl's saftey so she went up to the van, according to Beiber. Sigman told police she saw the four-year-old sitting on the lap of the man driving the van. Beiber said Sigman then reached through the open door and forcibly remomved the little girl. Beiber said the four-year-old was not harmed during the ordeal.

Other witnesses in the area tried to keep the van from leaving but the two men inside were able to drive off, said Beiber. Deputies were called to the scene and actually spotted the van while they were en route to the mobile home park. Beiber said the responding deputies pulled the van over, treating it as a high-risk stop. The two men inside, 44-year-old Alejndro Diaz Carrano and 43-year-old Angel Montenegro Carrano, were questioned and then arrested on Luring charges and Second Degree Kidnapping, according to Beiber.

It turns out the van the two men were in is also a vehicle of interest in an Attempted Unlawful Imprisonment investigation being conducted by the Vancouver Police Department. Beiber said that case involved an adult female and allegedly happened in September

We should all be alert to things of this nature, a war has been declared on our women and our children, they are being preyed on, stalked, raped and murdered every day, this was a very brave woman and she deserves a citizens medal for what she did that little girl would probably never been seen alive again, thank God, her guardian angel was working overtime in this woman who saved her life!

Like I said before, we have personally noticed a huge jump in the sexual nature of the "alleged" illegals in our area (or should I say assumed illegals?), namely the men towards ANY female they can get close enough to.

I found myself one Friday evening in Walmart with my family, my husband and son went to look at guy stuff while I and my 8 year old were in the toy aisle. Every time I turned around, there was this guy, right behind us, with only anti-freeze in his cart, by himself, down the Barbie aisle (now really!!), at one point he was about two inches behind me, breathing heavily. The next was at Goodwill where a man found himself "excited" at the presence of my 8 year old!!!

These are not an isolated incidents for us, nor I'm sure for many.

I am personally, making it my business to be as loud and cruel to these men as possible when this occurs again (and rest assured, it will). I will berate, embarass and make an all out scene. My 13 year old son, who for the most part outsizes (5'6" and about 160#) many of these men, wants to act physically against them, but I told him no, not unless it was a situation where it was completely necessary.

It is a sad day when an American woman or girl cannot be in public unchaperoned for fear of sexual assault, but it has become so bad, here and I'm sure a lot of places, and it needs to be dealt with accordingly.
