ARIZONA DAILY STAR
Border Patrol agents in Nogales took a Mexican national living illegally in the Untied States into custody Tuesday after learning he'd been convicted of child molestation in 2000.

According to the U.S. Border Patrol, Fausto Moreno-Davila, a Mexican citizen, was deported after serving a five-year sentence for attempted sexual conduct with a minor and second degree dangerous crimes against children. He was convicted by an Arizona Superior Court in June 2000, said Rob Daniels, a spokesman for the U.S. Border Patrol.

Moreno-Davis was being arraigned by the Santa Cruz Superior Court on domestic violence charges when Border Patrol agents in Nogales learned he was in the country illegally by checking court records, Daniels said.
