Border patrol arrests several immigrants for drugs and weapons

In the past 24 hours Border Patrol Agents have arrested four illegal immigrants and uncovered their serious criminal pasts after examining fingerprint records.

A Mexican illegal immigrant and underage gang member is being held by Wilcox Border Patrol Agents after records revealed past convictions of driving under the influence and cocaine possession.

In a similar situation, a border crosser was taken into custody after being associated with a Sureno gang near Naco.

More criminal activity was discovered when a Douglas Border Patrol agent arrested a Mexican illegal immigrant Thursday after his records revealed an arrest for criminal sexual assault and domestic battery.

Casa Grande Border Patrol Agents have also arrested three illegal immigrants and a U.S. citizen who were driving on Federal Route 15. After inspecting the vehicle agents discovered an AK-47 firearm.
