    San Joaquin County: Ballots in ENGLISH ONLY!

    Election ballots will not be bilingual

    For the second time in four years, the county registrar of voters has decided not to print the November general election ballots in English and Spanish.

    The decision was made in an effort to cut costs and keep the ballot to a single page, San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters Austin Erdman said.

    this is a good thing. Aren't we all sick and tired of this agenda that has sought to change our country from the United States to the United Nations?

    To become a citizen you must speak english soooo just why do we need ballots in spanish?

    It's exactly as it should be. English is required for citizenship and there's no excuse to have to print them in other languages. Not fluent, bring your own translator.

    Perhaps the right to vote should only be given to the people who understand English, as usually all the issues to be voted upon are in English, whereas translations to other languages may not say exactly what the actual proposal says.

    BRAVO San Joaquin County! It's outrageous that anyone who is in this country legally would not know enough English to be able to fill out a simple ballot on election day!
