FALFURRIAS - The Border Patrol has released the details about a major marijuana bust over the weekend.

More than 7,000 pounds of pot, worth an estimated $6 million, was confiscated in two separate seizures. Both were made at the Falfurrias checkpoint. One load of more than 1,500 pound was found stuffed inside boxes of merchandise in the back of an 18-wheeler.

The other load, more than 5,600 pounds, was found in a hidden compartment on another big rig.
