    Border Patrol Intercepts 40 Undocumented Immigrants

    El Centro Sector Border Patrol Agents stopped a pick-up towing a travel trailer Sunday and find undocumented immigrants.
    Agents working about 25 miles west of Calexico , California received information about a suspicious vehicle traveling eastbound on Interstate 8. A traffic stop was initiated and it was found that the driver and his passenger in the truck did not have legal documents to be in the United States. A search of the travel trailer then revealed 38 more undocumented immigrants hiding in the crowded trailer. The driver was arrested and is being held on charges of alien smuggling
