I live along the Ca. border and I know the Border Patrol excepts all the help they can get, they know they can't be everywhere so any help from the public is welcome.
They are like any other law enforcement agency where the more calls and tips they get helps them do their job easier and better.

Although I have a lot of respect for the work our Border Agents do, this one seems a bit out of touch with what we hear. I have a hard time believing he's not encountering the same problems in his area. He appears to be glossing over the truth a bit there.
