YUMA, AZ - Border Patrol agents in southern Arizona seized over $118,000 in cash after pulling over a suspicious vehicle Thursday.

Officials with Customs and Border Protection said in a news release that agents assigned to the Blythe Station noticed the suspicious behavior and erratic actions of the driver of a Nissan Sentra.

Agents followed the vehicle, eventually pulling it over where the two occupants, U.S. citizens, consented to a vehicle search.

When agents looked through the trunk of the car they found the money hidden in a bag containing folded bed linens.

Agents found multiple stacks of cash bundled together with rubber bands. The total came to $118,187.52.

Agents seized the cash but there was no word on whether the two people in the vehicle were arrested.
