Thread: Border Patrol Nabs High-Powered Weapons

HIDALGO - Border Patrol agents in Hidalgo have nabbed four high-powered weapons that were headed to Mexico.

Wednesday night's agents spotted a suspicious man carrying a duffel bag near the Hidalgo border crossing.

The man dropped the bag as agents approached and he ran toward the river and into Mexico.

Inside the bag there were several items wrapped in plastic and duct tape. They turned out to be four disassembled semi-automatic rifles, four magazines, a rifle scope and a bipod.
