Border Patrol Pursuit Ends With Crash, Multiple Injuries

A pursuit between the Border Patrol and a van carrying more than 25 passengers ended with a crash Thursday, 10News reported.

The van was traveling on westbound Interstate 905 at about 1:45 p.m. when it flipped over two times before stopping in a gully.

The crash happened on Interstate 905 and Caliente, on the U.S. side of the border with Mexico.

Some injuries were reported, but the actual number was not clear, said Officer Larry Landeros, a CHP spokesman.

According to officials, the van contained no seats.

Officials from the San Diego Police Department and San Diego Fire Department are on the scene.
