Radio Host Suspended for 'Criminaliens' Remark

    Thursday, April 30, 2009 8:10 PM

BOSTON — A Boston talk radio host has been suspended for calling Mexican immigrants "criminaliens" and emergency rooms "condos for Mexicans" during a discussion about swine flu.

Boston's WTKK-FM host Jay Severin was suspended indefinitely Thursday.

According to an audio clip of a Monday show, Severin complained that the U.S. wasn't doing enough to prevent the spread of swine flu. He then said "tonight we will let the usual 5,000 criminaliens that come across the Arizona border ..." referring to Mexican immigrants.

During a conversation with a caller complaining about immigrants receiving health care, Severin said emergency rooms had "become essentially condos for Mexicans."

George Tobia, Severin's lawyer, did not immediately return phone calls.

Well they are criminal aliens and they have been abusing our emergency rooms ....... I'm sure there's a way to candy coat it so the truth tastes sweeter, but it's the truth.

Jay Severin is brave and made some valid points.

The only people that can say whatever they want to say are Obama and his politcal Elites and the illegals. Not the American people. And this is only going to get worse since the gov't just pushed though the Un-Constitutional Hate Crimes act.

Jay Severin suspended "indefinitely" by WTKK (Boston)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Boston talk show host Jay Severin (who last week was describing his experiences paying hookers for sex and advocating the legalization of prostitution)... has been suspended by WTKK for "making derogatory statements about Mexicans".

    Story here.

WTKK is owned by Greater Boston Radio, Inc., which is a privately owned corporation that owns 23 radio stations. It is owned by two individuals whose names are not disclosed in the FCC ownership filings and are not mentioned by name in the "Our History" page on their website. The Founders of Greater Media were Peter Bordes, who died unexpectedly in September 2008, and Joe Rosenmiller - the "silent money guy"

Joe Rosenmiller is exective director of Solidago Foundation, which is dedicated to "Progressive Social Change and Environmental Justice". Their talk radio station employs "Right Wing Hate" hosts Michael Graham, Jay Severin and tried to hire Howie Carr from WRKO. Pretty odd, don't you think?

The Boston Globe is owned by the New York Times, which is now controlled by a Mexican investor. The article incorrectly describes Jay Severin as "right wing", but facts no longer matter in the United States media.

I am from Boston none of these radio hosts are hate specialists like Hal Turner. They are just on the same side of the immigration enforcement issue as 80% of the American population.

I just heard what Jay Severin said and it sounds like he went over board and could use a time out.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

What station was Jeanine Garofolo on when she called the teabag protesters "rednecks" who hate a Black man as the President etc.etc. Why didn't that station get in trouble? I mean this is just so ridiculous. Mr. Severins is absolutely correct in his assessments. They(the illegals) make $6.00 per hour have 3 and 4 kids and expect the rest of us to continue paying. I've lived in California my entire life. Not one city that has been taken over by illegals has EVER improved. They've ruined every town and city, crime, gangs, tagging, poor school performance. I mean the truth hurts I guess.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. They can shut them up, if they work for them.

Great freakin' point! So the leftists are allowed to say whatever they want, but the moderate/conservative viewpoint is silenced? Gotta love Obama and his Orwellian tactics!

For those who haven't, please read George Orwell's 1984 and Animal Farm. His books are coming true!

Boston radio host suspended after anti-Mexican remarks

Jay Severin, a fiery right-wing Boston radio talk show host, has been suspended indefinitely after calling Mexican immigrants "criminaliens," "primitives," "leeches," and exporters of "women with mustaches and VD," among other things, The Boston Globe reports.

Heidi Raphael, a spokeswoman for WTTK-FM, confirms the suspension to The Globe but declines to say what specifically had sparked the move. The talk-show host's comments about Mexicans started after the swine flu outbreak in Mexico.

The Globe says Severin, in an email, referred questions to his lawyer, adding that the was "not at liberty" to discuss the matter.

Severin's lawyer, George Tobia, tells The Globe that it was not clear how long Severin will be suspended. "All we know is it's indefinite," Tobia is quoted as saying. "We're just learning of it, and we're dealing with it."
