Just got off the phone with a staffer - Senator Lamar Alexander will vote NO on Cloture and NO on the bill if cloture passes.

I do not have the news alert yet to review, so I will post when I see it.

We will verify this for sure, so keep calling and faxing and emailing.

They said, Alexander has decided to "vote NO on Cloture and No on S 1349."

Here is what his office is sending out. Please call his offices to thank him for his opposition bill, but also point out we do not need to import more high skilled labor.

That is great news about Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander. I tried to phone his Washington, DC office this morning but could not get through as the line was busy. I did reach Tennessee Senator Bob Corker's office. The aide who answered the phone asked me to hold on for a minute which I did; when he came back to the line I gave him my message, asking the senator to vote No to cloture on the Senate amnesty bill; the aide told me that Senator Corker had already decided to vote NO to cloture on the bill, so I thanked him profusely.
