1) police investigating immigration status

2) state crime for illegal trespassing

3) state crime picking up day labor

All I can say is that this ruling is a crock of S!@* and extraordinarily dangerous for the country. The judge has basically ruled that a state cannot protect itself. Get ready folks. The S!@* is about to hit the fan!! Arm and protect yourself because the federal government won't.

Now more then before we need to elect congress critters who have the power to change our current immigration laws and make it clear local police have the right to check immigration status of anyone they stop for any reason if they cannot show proof of citizenship..

So If you are a murderer,or a violent criminal of some kind that would be found out with check of various other databases,you can just go out and kill or mame people,or otherwise get on with your criminal lifestyle because this judge says their "MIGHT BE A CHANCE OF RACIAL PROFILING !! What on earth Is she thinking !! The Obama administration has tampered with this decision. There Is no other logical explanation. (Rhode Island COPS already asks about Immigration status If there Is a reasonable suspicion that the person Is an Illegal alien. This stinks to high heaven,and shows that our Federal governmen,AND our judicial system are In fact corrupt...... TS
