Brownback: More legal immigrants, simplified policies needed

Brownback: More legal immigrants, simplified policies needed

GREENVILLE, S.C. Republican presidential candidate Sam Brownback says today that the United States must simplify immigration policy to make it easier for more legal aliens to get into the country while keeping criminals out.

The Kansas senator says he reached that conclusion after more than seven years of legal wrangling he spent to get a passport for his nine-year-old son, who was adopted from Guatemala.

Brownback spoke to about 100 people at a Republican lunch club in the northern part of South Carolina. The state will host the first Southern G-O-P primary.

How does this dope conclude we need MORE legal immigrants because it took him what he perceived as a long time to get a passport for his adopted son???? I just can't see the connection.

I didn't even think it was worthy of a response.

I bet this moron doesn't know the US already admits 1 million legal immigrants every year. And if it took 7 years for the US government to issue a passport for his adopted son, he thinks INCREASING their workload will fix this problem?

The guy needs to be put out to pasture in the real world.
