    R.I. now 100% enrolled in I.C.E. Secure Communities

    Rhode Island now has all 5 of it's counties enrolled in The I.C.E Secure Communities Program.

    I can't find an article to go with this but this info is now on the Secure Communities list.

    These are the other changes I found there today.

    GA. now has 22 of 159 counties enrolled.

    KS. now has 9 of 105 enrolled.

    MD. now has 18 of 24 enrolled.

    OH. now has 39 of 88 enrolled.

    Washington DC has only ONE jurisdiction

    and hasn't managed to get it activated yet.

    The following states have 100% of their jurisdictions enrolled in the I.C.E. Secure Community Program.

    All other states do NOT.

    3/22/2011

    AZ - 15 of 15 - 100%

    CA - 58 of 58 - 100%

    DE - 3 of 3 - 100%

    FL - 67 of 67 - 100%

    NC - 100 of 100 - 100%

    NM - 33 of 33 - 100%

    RI - 5 of 5 - 100%

    TX - 260 of 260 - 100%

    VA - 129 of 129 - 100%

    WV - 54 of 54 - 100%

    WI - 72 of 72 - 100%

    A jurisdiction doesn't have to be a county. A large city can be a jurisdiction.

    Is this secure communities thing mandatory? I know some areas in Rhode Island didn't want to enforce this. I hope they are forced to use this!
