Bush celebrates Cinco de Mayo a day early
NEDRA PICKLER
Associated Press
WASHINGTON - President Bush said he likes to use the Mexican holiday Cinco de Mayo to practice his Spanish, but this year he's practicing his arithmetic.
Bush poked fun at himself in front of about 200 people gathered in the Rose Garden for the White House celebration on May 4, one day before the holiday marking the Mexican troops' defeat of a French army on May 5, 1862.
"My only problem this year is I scheduled the dinner on cuatro de mayo," Bush said. "Next year I'm going to have to work on my math."
Bush offered a toast before dinner, flanked by a mariachi band at the front of the crowd. About 200 Mexican-American leaders and Hispanic administration officials sat in the brightly decorated "Jardin de Rosa," as Bush called it, with tables covered in pink, green and blue decorations and little orange lights strung from the garden's trees and hedges.
Bush noted the presence of his Hispanic attorney general, treasurer, commerce secretary, surgeon general and small business administrator. The mariachi band members, standing politely with their sombreros in hand while the president spoke, hollered out their greetings when he acknowledged Eduardo Aguirre, director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
"These guys said they want to get to know you, Eduardo," Bush said to laughter. He reminded the crowd that Aguirre should have a new job soon, though, since he's been nominated as ambassador to Spain.
Earlier Wednesday, Bush spent nearly an hour speaking to a Hispanic audience at the Latino Small Business Economic Conference. He made a pitch for his Social Security plan, saying that private investment accounts is a timely idea because "people from all walks of life" are investing in 401(k) retirement accounts offered by their employers.
Bush pointed to a trip Tuesday to the Nissan plant in Canton, Miss. "It was a very diverse audience, a lot of assembly line workers," he said. "And I said, 'How many of you all have got your own 401(k)?' I mean, the number of hands that went up was astounding."
Bush wants to let workers under age 55 divert a portion of their Social Security payroll taxes into private investment accounts and allow benefits to rise the most for lower-income retirees.
"Seems fair to me," Bush said. "Seems like a noble calling for the United States of America, to recognize a lot of people work really hard and don't make a lot of money, but when it comes time to retire, there ought to be dignity in retirement."
Bush also said "there is a need for more financial literacy in America," so he has instructed federal agencies to work with Hispanic groups to spread financial planning information in Spanish and English. Please support our fight against illegal immigration by joining ALIPAC's email alerts here https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Remember just like socialism and communism, globalism isn't sold as a whole, it's sold one little piece at a time. They get you to slowly accept those little pieces that don't seem like a big deal at the time until one day you wake and ask yourself "what the hell just happened?". Wake up America, your country is being sold out right before your eyes and you don't even know it.Please support our fight against illegal immigration by joining ALIPAC's email alerts here https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

So President Bush is spending today learning arithmetic? We're getting somewhere America!
Let's have him start with some simple word problems.
1. There are 365 days in a year. Each day at least 4,000 unknown
people cross the southern border of the United States illegally.
How many illegal aliens enter the United States illegally each year?
2. At least 4,000 illegal aliens enter the U.S. daily from the Mexican
border. No one knows who they are, where they are going, the
condition of their health, or what exactly their intentions are?
When American citizens go to bed at night, how many of these
unknown trespassers should they expect to come into their country
through the southern border the next day? And how about the day
following that?
Let's have him start with these. This afternoon will give him some money
problems. Tonight we'll introduce him to statistics. For example there are
so many Republicans in the U.S.. How many will contine to stop giving money to the Republican Party if the Republican President continues to neglect the borders? If he needs a tutor, we'll send one.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

LegalUSCitizen:
Welcome to the board. I have to say that is one very cool avatar you got there.
I personally don't know if you can give Jorge Bush those kinds of math problems on his first day of learning. Come on now, a guy who can barely speak a lick of english, was a former stoner and a drunk, a man who only got into Harvard and Yale because of his dad despite his incredibly mediocre SAT scores and was barely a C student to boot and your going to give him those types of math problems. You know what that will do to his fragile boyish mind? Shame on you sir. Tisk, Tisk.
First lets see if he can figure out what 2 + 2 = before we can think about giving him some serious math problems to tackle. Please support our fight against illegal immigration by joining ALIPAC's email alerts here https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

"but when it comes time to retire, there ought to be dignity in retirement."
What a joke. Maybe Bush is as dumb as the democrats say.
Here's the dignity that many retirees face. No part time jobs, because employers would rather hire young strong illegals.
No healthcare, because the hospitals are all shutting down or we just can't afford it. No social services because they're exhausted taking care of aliens.
You're forced to sell your home because property taxes are sky high, but it goes for next to nothing because there is a bario of illegals in your neighborhood.
Years ago, my husband and I celebrated Cinco de Mayo with our American Mexican friends. That doesn't happen anymore.....gringos not welcome in the illegal alien world.Want to make people angry? Lie to them.
Want to make them absolutely livid? Tell 'em the truth."

bush celebrates mexican holiday
Mr Bush,
We need to focus on the holidays that (have been rudly pushed aside) such as thanksgiving, Christsmas, easter., and halloween, to name a few. Not a 'Mexican Holiday known as Cinco de Mayo." This is completely outrageous and racial toward the majority of the American citizens. What in the world are you thinking? We don't, never did, and shouldn't celebrate a Mexican holiday. If these people wish to do so, okay, but not at our expense.
Mr President, where do your American values and patriotism lie? Please move your agenda back to the American people, that voted you into office, because we trusted you to fullfil our agendas.RIP Butterbean! We miss you and hope you are well in heaven.-- Your ALIPAC friends
