Feinstein on E-Verify & Immigration Reform

Dear Mr. XXXXXXX:
I received your letter and appreciate hearing your concerns regarding illegal immigration in the United States. I understand how strongly you feel about this issue and would like to provide you with my point of view.
I understand your support for E-Verify, an internet-based system operated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in partnership with the Social Security Administration. This system allows participating employers to connect with Federal databases to determine the legal status of potential employees and the validity of their Social Security numbers. I support programs to help employers confirm a legal workforce and reduce unauthorized employment in the United States. At the same time, as the Department of Homeland Security steps up immigration enforcement, it should ensure that new policies do not harm legal workers or jeopardize potentially vulnerable industries in the U.S.
As you know, Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has expressed his commitment to addressing comprehensive immigration reform. I believe that the government must be tough and smart to regain control of the U.S. immigration system. I support enhanced border security as one component to comprehensive reform, including the construction of a fence along the U.S. border with Mexico. I will be mindful of your concerns if Congress has an opportunity to debate immigration-related legislation in the near future.
Again, I appreciate your suggestions for addressing illegal immigration. I welcome you to contact my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-3841 if you have any additional comments. Best regards.
Sincerely yours,
Dianne Feinstein
United States Senator

No surprise here. She waffles on e-Verify and supports amnesty.
We have to stress to her that with 693,000 Americans losing their jobs in December alone, we need e-Verify and NOT "comprehensive reform" amnesty to protect suffering American workers.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

She always been against any form of border security including the fence and e-verify. I hope that beyond hope as chairwoman of the Intelligence Committee she may have been briefed on the violence on the border spilling into the US (illegal alien stash, drug houses, kidnapping and other crimes in Phoenix) along with rampant drug, illegal alien and terrorist smuggling and attacks on border patrol and other law enforcement authorities by Zetas using bazookas and grenade, rocket and shouldered mounted missile launchers, 50 cal machine guns and other high powered weapons making that area resemble WWIII. Maybe that scared the hell out of her causing her to change her way of thinking but on the other hand since the holiday season is over there are no more miracles.
There is no freedom without the law. Remember our veterans whose sacrifices allow us to live in freedom.

Typical politician response, wish-washy.
So is she for or against E-Verify? I'd guess against since it may affect a few legal residents.
If she is for 'tough and smart' why not begin with the employers??? Have them use E-Verify!
The fence is good but not the key to the problem and she knows it.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn
