Why is President Bush risking a nasty battle within his own party over immigration reform?

June 12, 2007 - Though I’ve never heard him use the term, my guess is that George W. Bush sees himself as a hacendado, an estate owner in Old Mexico.

And Bush is trying to convince the american people that we need his brother in the white house. the man has not clout left and the republican party needs to tell him so.

It is rather Ironic that all those years we worried about communism, we should have been worrying about what kind of damage our own government would do in the future to our country and its citizens!! Who would have thought

I agree, SOSAD, it is a hard thing to realize that our own govenment is doing such damage to our country and all because of greed and corruption! THANK GOD for patriotic Americans that are willing to stand and let their voices be heard!! ROAR ON AMERICANS!

Well what is happening to our country is exactly that .....Communism. Why do you think past or present presidents have given China so much leeway. Look at the university...students are indoctrinated to hate this country. Look at the organizations that have communist ties like Move On. Org, La Raza, etc. One doesn't have to be a blatant communist but can be a kinder version of it and that is called Socialsim {aka Liberalism & Progressives}. The object is to control the population. The government now control education, housing, etc. Once we surrender everything the only thing left to control is our LIFE. The foundation of what these elitist belief in comes from the communist manifisto. So yeah, however now they are becoming blatant. We as patriots must never allow this nation get to a breaking point. We need to kick out those politician, but it will be hard because so many people are so indoctrinated that the Federal Government, should be their father, mother, and even God to take care of them. The more self reliant we become the better we can become, but if there is a large group of folks that want to be taken care of by the government, it will be a tough rode ahead.
