MARIANNA, Fla. - In Jackson County, a search for a man with five counts of lewd and lascivious battery leads to the arrest of one illegal immigrant and the detaining of two others.

35-year-old, Carlos Enrique Perez-Velasquez was arrested Thursday after barricading himself inside a home on New Hope Road in Marianna.

Officials said Velasquez and several other people ran when they saw law enforcement approaching.

The US Marshal Task Force along with US Customs Enforcement were looking for a man who goes by the name Belki Perez.

Perez is accused of having several warrants for his arrest under several different alias'.

The search for Perez began when a Jackson County family informed law enforcement that Perez was sexually involved with a victim under the age of 15.

Perez has still not been located.

"Him offering different alias', different dates of birth, trying to avoid being picked up, like I said we have multiple warrants on him under some of these other names, there's no telling what other types of crimes he might have committed," said Cory McBryar, Jackson County Sheriff's Office investigator.

One of the several names Perez is known by is Jorge Gomez. He is known to live and work in the Malone, Florida area.
