Tancredo slams pope on immigration
Anne C. Mulkern
WASHINGTON — As thousands packed into a Washington, D.C., stadium to see Pope Benedict XVI, U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo attacked the pontiff for statements about immigration.
Tancredo, a Littleton Republican, accused the pope of welcoming illegal immigrants to the U.S. in order to build membership in the church.
The Catholic leader, while in Washington today, said: “I want to encourage you and your communities to continue to welcome the immigrants who join your ranks today, to share their joys and hopes, to support them in their sorrows and trials and to help them flourish in their new home.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I'm glad this was posted. I saw those Pope comments and was not sure if they were legit or not.
Done deal for me. The Pope has bad info to say the least. Miss La Raza Janet mention 500 or so hate crimes...and just how does that stack up againts the gang tags, anti-white or black crimes by the illegals, or the alien drunk drivers, etc.
The Pope blew it on this one. His resources of info are way off kilter....time for a nice letter to the vatican. They had gay priests and now they try to hide the illegal crime in this country.
I would guess that over 90% o fthe victims are not hispanic illegals and that 90% of the perps are? The Catholic Church...the ones that got me drunk at 15 and had nuns beat the shit out of me have finally just crossed the final line. They support those people who want me dead, off this continent, and have no respect for anyone else....Done deal.<div>"You know your country is dying when you have to make a distinction between what is moral and ethical, and what is legal." -- John De Armond</div>

I am deeply saddened by the continuing outcries by the higher ups in churches that being opposed to illegal immigration is some how wrong or lacks compassion. There are legal ways for people to come and to honor the law too. The Vatican seems wealthy and full of opulence, maybe they could share those riches with the illegal aliens and send them over there with the Pope. It is so easy for people to spend other people's money and not have a care for the pockets that they pick, even if they too are poor Americans who need the opportunity of a job. How about the Pope and some of the open border elites like Bill Gates, etc. just hold a big fund raiser and donate millions or billions of dollars and reconstruct parts of nations where these illegal aliens hail from originally. It is very rude to take from another man without his permission over and over again and expect him to like it and continue to accept this behavior.
How easy for the Pope to criticize. Is he for a poorer man breaking into a richer man's home just because he is poorer. It is just not right.
If you continue to take the riches from the man that provides, he will eventually become poor like the taker and there will be no more for either. (Peach philosophy)
Psalm 91Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Tancredo concluded, “I suspect the Pope’s immigration comments may have less to do with spreading the gospel than they do about recruiting new members of the church,â€
