Border Patrol agents seize 680 pounds of pot from SUV

7:03 p.m. June 12, 2008

CAMPO – Border Patrol agents seized 680 pounds of marijuana Thursday morning after they trailed a sport utility vehicle with a shredded tire.
An agent noticed the Isuzu Trooper with a bad tire on state Route 94 about 7 a.m. The driver made an abrupt turn south on a dirt road toward the border, a Border Patrol spokesman said.

When agents caught up to the Trooper, it was parked at the border and three men were unloading bundles. They dropped the packages and ran into Mexico when they saw the agents.

Agents confiscated 66 bundles of marijuana. No one was arrested.

Excuse me - but has anyone ever seen that much weed at once ? Can someone please explain to me how that much ( or even 400 lbs ) could be packed into an SUV ?
