CA: Brown-Whitman Debate: Illegal Immigration and a Path to.
Brown-Whitman Debate: Illegal Immigration and a Path to Citizenship
September 28, 2010 | 6:51 pm
KCRA's Kevin Riggs asked about whether the candidates support a path to legalization for illegal immigrants living in the United States.
"I support a path to legalization" as part of comprehensive federal immigration reform," Brown said.
"We can't round them up and deport them," he added. But for those in the country illegally who commit crimes, he said: "Let's get them deported."
Whitman said she opposes a path to legalization. She outlined a several-step approach that began with: "We have to secure the border of the United States of America."
She pledged more resources for border patrol agents, more enforcement of businesses hiring illegal immigrants, a guest worker program for agriculture and cracking down on sanctuary cities.
Reaching out to Latinos, a growing and powerful electoral bloc, she specially notes her opposition to Proposition 187, the 1994 ballot measure to strip illegal immigrants of state services, and her opposition to the controversial Arizona immigration law.

Typical "Moonbeam" Jerry, hey, every one of them has commited a crime!!
"We can't round them up and deport them," he added. But for those in the country illegally who commit crimes, he said: "Let's get them deported."
The Governor cannot do any of that by themselves, so in other words she support the current status quo of eventual takeover by anchor babies. She pledged more resources for border patrol agents, more enforcement of businesses hiring illegal immigrants, a guest worker program for agriculture and cracking down on sanctuary cities.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

What a pitiful debate. With two pitiful liberal candidates.Reaching out to Latinos, a growing and powerful electoral bloc, she specially notes her opposition to Proposition 187, the 1994 ballot measure to strip illegal immigrants of state services, and her opposition to the controversial Arizona immigration law.
Meg Whitman is just John McCain in a skirt.
I am going to do a write in at election time as a Republican party protest.
The GOP in California is a lost cause. They feel free now to keep on promoting more and more liberal RINOs, ever since they found out the people will vote for whatever they give them, whether they like them or not.
I have had it with the GOP and their fake RINO conservatives who are only interested in promoting themselves.Ron Paul in 2011 "[...]no amnesty should be granted. Maybe a 'green card' with an asterisk should be issued[...]a much better option than deportation."

Please take a look at Chelene Nightingale.
Her interview with Terry Anderson was good.

The Gop, especially in California has got to give us something to vote for. If we stop voting for their liberals, they might get the message. Eventually.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chelene Nightingale Calls For Integrity As Whitman Is Accused Of Hiring Illegal Immigrant Housekeeper
September 29, 2010
Palmdale, California - Chelene Nightingale, the American Independent Party's candidate for Governor in 2010, is an outspoken advocate for strong illegal immigration reform – as well as clear and significant penalties for those in this country who hire illegal immigrants as workers.
Meg Whitman has been campaigning throughout the state saying that she wants to fine employers that hire illegal immigrants. During her statement at the September 28, 2010 debate between herself and Jerry Brown, Whitman said “We do have to hold employers accountable for hiring only documented workers and we do have to enforce that law.â€Want to make people angry? Lie to them.
Want to make them absolutely livid? Tell 'em the truth."

Not that I am sticking up for Meg Whitman, but just to set the record straight by showing she denies these charges about knowingly hiring an illegal alien.
Meg Whitman: My Maid's Full of It
9/29/2010 11:40 AM PDT by TMZ Staff
http://www.tmz.com/2010/09/29/meg-whitm ... -governor/
Meg Whitman's campaign just gave us documents suggesting that her former maid, Nicky Diaz Santillan, actually lied to Meg about her immigration status when she was hired back in 2000.

The documents, which Whitman claims Nicky filled out and signed back in 2000 during her application for employment, appear to show that the maid stated under the penalty of perjury that she was a "lawful permanent resident" of the United States.
Whitman also claims Nicky provided her with a social security card and valid California Driver's License with her employment application ... which Meg kept and has now handed over to TMZ.
Whitman has also issued a statement on the matter, saying ... "After 9 years of faithful service, Nicky came to us in June 2009 and confessed that she was an illegal worker." Whitman continues, "Nicky has falsified the hiring documents and personal information she provided to the employment agency that brought her to us in 2000."
And, Whitman continues, "I believe Nicky is being manipulated by Gloria Allred for political and financial purposes during the last few weeks of a hotly contested election."
Whitman concludes, "This is a shameful example of the politics of personal destruction practiced by people like Jerry Brown and Gloria Allred. The charges are without merit."Ron Paul in 2011 "[...]no amnesty should be granted. Maybe a 'green card' with an asterisk should be issued[...]a much better option than deportation."

The whole problem
They apply for jobs and present fake docs
If you question the docs , you can get your butt sued off for discrimination
Thats why e verify has to be mandatory for all hiring

Listened to the Allred conference on KFI, this is a giant set up, the illegal who knowingly committed a felony was up there fabricating a giant sob story, most or all of it lies I am sure. I don't like Meg Whitman but this is pure over the top discusting political theater.

09-30-2010, 01:53 AM #8Heard some of that on KFI also Bowman. It is obviously planned at this time to parade that illegal out, in tears, to gain sympathy in an attempt to smear Meg Whitman. Allred is a backer of Jerry Brown. Good example of how low some people go in politics.
