Hold Their Feet To The Fire rally in DC April 22-25

Sorry, didnt see this posted yet. What role will ALIPAC play in this?

Ever since the mass pro-illegal-alien rallies a year ago, many of you have been pushing for an opportunity to make your views and presence known in a Washington D.C. protest.

Here is your chance to do some travel and put your body on public display as standing for the rule of law and against rewards for illegal immigration.

Hold Their Feet To The Fire
    April 22-25 (Sunday - Wednesday)
White House Rally on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

For those of you who have really wanted to hook up with a lot of other people to send a message to the national media and Members of Congress through a public protest, this is your first -- and perhaps best -- chance this year.

The chief host of this event is San Diego radio host Roger Hedgecock who has held several of these in the past -- but none anywhere near as large as this one. His co-host is FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform). FAIR has organized and sponsored most of the national immigration reform events over the last three decades.

More than two dozen radio talk show hosts from around the country have already signed up to be a part of this three-day event. (See the list lower in this email.)

They will be set up in a "Radio Row" and broadcasting live each day, amplifying the reach of the event hundreds-fold.

NumbersUSA's media coordinator Caroline Espinosa, myself and other staff have been invited to be guests on many of these shows during the broadcasts, and we will be participating in most of the events.

The schedule of activities includes rallies, press conferences, live interviews with Congressmen and Senators, and other receptions and special events designed to put radio hosts, listeners, and hundreds of activists together at the front lines of the illegal alien amnesty debate. There also will be plenty of time for you to visit congressional offices. (Try to set up meetings before you leave home.)

WHITE HOUSE RALLY -- APRIL 22

The most important public protest event will be at 3:30 Sunday afternoon, April 22, in Lafayette Park just across the street from the north side of the White House.

Once again, the White House rally is being sponsored by D.A. King and his Dustin Inman Society of Georgia. They are the ones who have coaxed, educated and guided the Georgia legislature into passing some of the best immigration laws in the country. They are models for activists in every state and locality.

FUNDRAISER FOR JAILED BORDER PATROL AGENTS

FAIR states this about its Tuesday night event:

Hold Their Feet to the Fire participants will also take up the cause of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean, the two Border Patrol officers who are serving long prison sentences for having defended themselves and the American public against an illegal alien drug smuggler.

The wives and other family members of the two officers will be in Washington pleading the cases of the two men and will be at the "Defend Those Who Defend Us" fundraising reception, hosted by FAIR. We hope that you will join us at this event and show your support by helping us to raise much needed funds for the legal defense costs of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean. Advance registration is required if you would like to attend this special fundraising reception, meet the Ramos and Compean families and show your support for the unjustly imprisoned Border Patrol officers. We are also asking for a minimum donation of $25, which will go towards the legal defense of these men.

Some of the NumbersUSA New England activists are planning to do a photo and video op event noon the Saturday before at the Hyannis Port Kennedy Compound and then to drive down together to Washington DC in a small bus.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
