ARTICLE SYNOPSIS:
All males residing in the United States between the ages of 18-25 must register with Selective Service for the draft. This includes "undocumented (illegal) aliens."

COMMENTARY:
It's old news that the U.S. Selective Service System requires illegal immigrants to register for the draft. But it's still a slap in the face for concerned citizens when they read in bold print our government's wanton disregard for its own laws.

Go to any U.S. post office and pick up a Selective Service registration form. The chart inside identifying who must register for the draft clearly lists: "Undocumented (illegal) aliens." (Keep in mind that males between the ages of 18-25 are not an insignificant demographic element within our illegal alien population.)

If a visit to your local post office is too far out of your way just to get infuriated, you can go to the antiquated web site of Selective Service. The following is from their homepage (emphasis in the orginal):

ATTENTION, UNDOCUMENTED MALES
& IMMIGRANT SERVICING GROUPS!

If you are a man ages 18 through 25 and living in the U.S., then you must register with Selective Service. It’s the law. You can register at any U.S. Post Office and do not need a social security number. When you do obtain a social security number, let Selective Service know...
Selective Service does not collect any information which would indicate whether or not you are undocumented. You want to protect yourself for future U.S. citizenship and other government benefits and programs by registering with Selective Service. Do it today.

Can our imperial government, currently headquartered in Washington, DC, be any more blatant in stating its intention to trash the rule of law?

Certainly a casual reader may wonder what young male smart enough to make it across a dangerous border would be dumb enough to register himself as an illegal alien with an agency of the Federal government, the toothless threat of jeopardizing any future chance of citizenship notwithstanding. But, we are talking faceless, hypocritical bureaucracies here. They weave a complex web....

In the aftermath of 9/11 and the run up to the attack on Iraq, our government launched an initiative on behalf of Selective Service. It encouraged all state motor vehicle departments to require that all males between 18 and 25 register with Selective Service in order to be issued a drivers license. Simple enough, but coupled now with New York State's recent announcement that it is joining Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington in knowingly granting driver's licenses to illegal aliens, you can see where this is going. Here is the relevant fine print from the New York drivers license application:

"If I am a male at least 18 but less than 26 years of age, I consent to be registered with the Selective Service System (SSS),if so required by federal law. I authorize the Commissioner to forward to the SSS my personal information that is required for registration

So now, not only is our central government refusing to stop illegal immigration at the border, but it is actively engaged in compiling lists of illegal aliens who have registered (knowingly or unknowingly) for the draft!

It's likely too that the long arm of Selective Service does not end with drivers licenses. Don't be surprised if we learn that a condition of release for illegals in our jail system includes signing off on some similar fine print on behalf of Selective Service.

Our government is inadvertantly or otherwise setting our country up for what could become a volatile situation: A future draft where freedom loving American citizens refuse to accept servitude under an imperial government and illegal aliens willingly exchange their freedom for the benefits of imperial citizenship and the license to use force.
