    Gilroy police arrest man suspected of stalking girls

    Gilroy police arrested a man on Friday they suspect stalked girls in town for past month.
    Officers picked up Jose David Gonzalez-Raygoza, 26, of Gilroy, after a teen pointed him out to them as she was questioned about a reported stalking incident.

    The 16-year-old girl told police Gonzalez-Raygoza allegedly pulled up next to her on the 6900 block of Glenview Drive and told her to get into his truck at around 3 p.m. The girl called her mother and ran home.

    She then saw the truck following her mother two separate times that same day and called police. When officers came to question her, she pointed out Gonzalez-Raygoza's truck to them.

    Officers believe that he may have also followed a 10-year-old girl home from school on Oct. 7, officials said.

    In that incident the stalker fled when a neighbor intervened.

    Gonzalez-Raygoza was booked into Santa Clara County jail on suspicion of attempting kidnapping, annoying or molesting a child, driving without a license and an immigration hold.

    this guy should be happy the police got him before the dads did... it would have been much, much worse that anything ICE would do
