The crisis of immigration is also partly caused by the Catholic church needing new members of the flock and tithing, as Americans seem to be losing jobs all over the place and church coffers are losing money.

We need to remember that how we treat the weak, the infirm, the elderly, the unborn child and the foreigner reflects on our own humanity
And what about how we treat our own citizens?

    I must confess--

-- that the constant efforts by Gutierrez and the Catholic church has slwoly7 built aresentment in me for Hispanics. NOT LEGAL Hispanics. NOt American citizens who mare of Latino nationality
Iresent the Gutierrez's of the woirld who belives that his ethnicity is premium in America nd that he and his ilk have the right to convert America to an Hispanic nation.

So call me xenophobe, call me racist, call me bigot, but do it as yoi head back to your home country.

When you add Sotomayor to Gutierrez, it makes one wonder why we gave special treatment to Puerto Rico. There has been a large group in PR that has wanted independenbce for years. I say give it to them.

Why are people of Latino roots such racist bigots themselves???

Emphasizing that the Catholic Church respects the nation’s laws
The Archbishop better be careful! My father always told me there was a place reserved in hell for liars and thieves.

Big Religion is like any other Special Interest Group, just follow the money. Most Special Interest Groups are only concerned for "their" Elitist and not the people they pretend to speak for or save from harm.

The Elitist Politicians and their Elitist Contributors, such as Big Labor and Big Religion (both defined as the hierarchy of the labor and religious groups) along with other Special Interest Groups, consider their nation’s citizens only as "units of labor" and the sooner their nation becomes a Third World Country the better for their "bottom line"! The Elitist Politicians and their Elitist Political Contributors will not be happy until they transform their nations into just another Third World Country for most of their citizens while furnishing their Elitist Special Interest Groups with their supply of "cheap labor", "union dues", and of course "church donations".
